If you’ve never stepped on a mat before, are returning to yoga after a break, or simply want to go back to basics and re-discover the foundations of your yoga practice, then this course is for you!
This 3 week course will be an introduction to Yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breathing), and sequences used in many yoga classes.
We will look at the importance of alignment in postures, how to work towards experiencing ease and stability in poses and the importance of breath. You will learn all the essentials you need to begin your yoga journey, giving you all the tools and confidence to attend our classes or start your own self practice at home.

Both male and female irrelevant of your age, level of fitness or level of flexibility, size etc. There are modifications for each pose making the practice accessible to everyone.

The course takes place in our beautiful Zen Yoga Room
which provides a calming and relaxing environment to start your yoga practice.

Each session is 80 minutes and starts at 6pm .
Mats are provided.
We advise you to bring water and wear something comfortable - eg leggings, shorts , T-Shirt.
The cost of the course includes a 5 class card which can be used for any of the classes on our timetable.
