Come and rest your body, rest your bones, and settle into stillness in this 3 hour Restorative workshop.

Summer can be a much busier time of the year when often our feet don’t touch the ground, maybe with kids off school, or perhaps more socialising and trips away.

It’s healthy to balance our more yang activities with more yin like quieter practices and to experience some stillness amidst all the movement and activity of summertime. Replenishing our energy levels and rebooting all our systems.

What is an afternoon of restorative yoga?

A blend of soothing postures, some in movement and some in complete stillness (supported by an abundance of props), designed to melt away tension and stress. Blended together with mini mindfulness meditations, to help you just ‘be’ in the present moment with your breath and body.

This practice will help you down regulate your nervous system from its overactive stress response and into the calm response, promoting a quietness inside that is profound and deeply nourishing on so many levels.

We’ll finish with Yoga Nidra, a deep relaxation technique thought to allow access into the sub conscious mind where we can release old thinking habits, self limiting beliefs and develop a new narrative for ourselves of how we want to live our lives.
