Join me for a three hour immersion into Yin Yoga infused with mindfulness. A deeply meditative practice based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, whilst combining ancient wisdom, spiritual teachings and practical brain science to help you deal with stress and lead a more balanced and peaceful life.
Yin Yoga is mainly seated and lying down postures to help you drop in to this incredibly healing practice which soothes the nervous system and carves out some much needed time for yourself. It evokes space in both body and mind. It works on a deep level into the connective tissue and organs, towards the release of toxins and negative emotions as we hold postures for longer periods of time.
It’s like a ‘balm’ for modern living treating the symptoms of modern malaise such as exhaustion, overwhelm, stress and anxiety.
We’ll finish the afternoon with 2 restorative poses one of which will be a Restorative version of Shavasana transporting you to a place of profound relaxation!
